BMA’s priority is to represent doctors’ interests first. That activity takes precedence over everything else. Partisan bitter ideological arguments have no place dominating the business of Council as in the last two years.
Key priorities: pensions, careers/workforce/job security, pay, professionalism and self governance.
Experienced sensible moderate medical politicians of all persuasions and with proven track records required to deliver the profession from chaos and tyranny which persists in the NHS at present.
- Consistently strong personal record delivering results for the whole profession over 25 years
- Council 1990-2010.
- Currently Chairman East Midlands Regional Council.
